1. In Mali
On an official visit to Mali, Mr. Alexandre NOVAK, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, accompanied by a large multi-sectoral delegation, was received in audience by the President of the Transition, Army General Assimi GOÏTA. This visit is part of the strengthening of historical and strategic relations between the two nations. It took place on Thursday, November 28, 2024. This mission, which is part of a tour of a tour of the member countries of the Confederation of Sahel States (AES), was aimed at discussing the prospects for bilateral cooperation between Russia and Mali.
2. In Senegal
Following the official proclamation, on Wednesday November 27, 2024, of the final results of the November 17, 2024 legislative elections by the Constitutional Council, the President of the Republic signed decree number 2024-3290 of November 28, 2024, setting Monday December 2, 2024 as the opening date of the first ordinary session of the newly-elected National Assembly.
3. In Cote d’Ivoire
The President of the Republic, Mr. Alassane OUATTARA, met, this Thursday November 28, 2024, at his Residence, with the Ambassador of Ghana in Côte d'Ivoire, Mr. LARYEA Frederick Daniel, at the end of his mission in the country. The Head of State paid a vibrant tribute to the Ghanaian diplomat, who has spent more than 4 decades in Côte d'Ivoire, first as an international civil servant at the African Development Bank (ADB), then as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary in our country, for his contribution to strengthening the bonds of friendship and cooperation between Côte d'Ivoire and Ghana.
